Congratulations Nature Canada!
We wish to extend our congratulations to Nature Canada, our partner for the delivery of NatureWatch. Nature Canada was successful in receiving a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. This funding will be used to pilot a new "look and feel" to the NatureWatch materials, create an entry level into the volunteer monitoring programs, and engage even more Ontarians to participate in NatureWatch. We're hoping that the success of this initiative can be extended across Canada to involve more people in the active network of citizen scientists. Nature Canada has hired a NatureWatch Manager to oversee this project. We warmly welcome Barbara Schaefer to the NatureWatch community and look forward to benefiting from her expertise in program management and delivery.
